Up to about June 1st we fish from a 20’ center console shallow draft Aqua Sport, an ideal boat for the shallow waters of the mouth of the Connecticut River. By early June when the transition from the river to Long Island Sound is taking place, we shift to a “dry”, comfortable and stable 23’ center console Mako.
